SWAMI SATCHIDANANDA

Pujya Swami Satchidananda, known in Purvashram as Anantasivan, after a period of struggles and trials in his early life, came under the spell of the unique personality of Beloved Papa five decades back. His age was then thirty. Beloved Papa saw a keen aspirant in him and Anantasivan found his Guru in Beloved Papa.

At the behest of Beloved Papa, he took to Nama Japa, Guruseva and dedicated service to all in right earnest and later embraced the order of Sannyas. He served the great masters Beloved Papa and Pujya Mataji throughout their life time. After the Maha Samadhi of Beloved Papa, he assisted Pujya Mataji in the day to day affairs of the Ashram. The Great Gurus were grooming Swamiji, as it were, to equip him fully for carrying out the noble mission they had started, for the ultimate good of all those who come to the Ashram.

In 1989, when Pujya Mataji left her mortal coil, Pujya Swamiji inherited the mantle of running the Ashram. True to the divine Sankalpa of Beloved Papa and Mataji, Swamiji with his exemplary qualities, has become the guiding spirit of the Ashram, following the footsteps of these great Masters in loving and serving all based upon the Universal Vision.
